Our Take
Bask's cash account is quietly excellent, but the franchise is Mileage Savings: 2.5 AAdvantage miles per dollar per year is an effective 3.5%+ yield for anyone who redeems AA miles at premium-cabin values, paid in a currency the IRS values cheaply on the 1099. Hold the emergency fund in Interest Savings and add a mileage slice only if you are already an AAdvantage power user.
Best for: Savers who want a top cash rate — or AAdvantage mile accumulation on idle cash
