On its own it is a standard $12-waivable account with several waiver paths, no-fee overdraft-protection transfers, and a large branch network in its core footprint. Its relationship tiers matter most when you also use the Smartly Visa or other linked U.S. Bank products, but check the ZIP-specific rate table before treating the account as an interest earner.

Best for: Smartly Visa holders and Midwest/West customers building a relationship
