The Compound Verdict

FNBO launched the Plus in February 2025 and closed the original 2022 ANA Card U.S.A. to new applicants, finally dropping the old card's foreign transaction fee. As an earning engine it loses badly to a Membership Rewards card transferring to ANA. Its real audience is Japan-bound expats who want mileage activity, partner discounts and a Japanese-friendly card relationship.
