What Changed

The eligible providers will be Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Frontier, Comcast, Charter, Spectrum Mobile, UScellular, Optimum, Ultra Mobile, and Mint Mobile. US Mobile is absent from the list. Eligibility for prepaid versions of Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile is not confirmed.

Our Take

The credit remains useful if you already pay an eligible provider. If your carrier is absent, compare service costs before switching solely for the $10 monthly credit, and do not assume prepaid service qualifies.

Before You Act

  1. 1Check your provider against the eligible list.
  2. 2Verify prepaid eligibility if applicable.
  3. 3Reassess the credit’s value before February 17, 2027.
