Capital One adds 20% transfer bonus to British Airways Avios through October 31

Capital One is offering a 20% bonus on miles transferred to British Airways Avios, raising the rate from 1,000:1,000 to 1,000:1,200. It matters to Capital One cardholders who already have a use in mind for Avios.

What Changed
Capital One miles moved to British Airways Avios earn a 20% bonus. Every 1,000 Capital One miles becomes 1,200 Avios instead of the usual 1,000. The bonus applies to transfers made from October 1 through October 31, 2026.

This is a solid boost if you have a specific Avios redemption lined up, but don't move miles just because of the bonus. Transfers can't be reversed, and an offer like this tends to come around about once a year.
