The Compound Verdict

Barclays stopped taking applications in late 2025 when American named Citi its exclusive card issuer starting in 2026. Existing accounts are being converted to Citi AAdvantage business products with some legacy benefits honored for now. If you want AA miles from a business card today, look at the CitiBusiness AAdvantage Platinum Select instead.
