The Compound Verdict
With $100k at BofA or Merrill this quietly becomes the best category card in the country, and the 6% first-year promo (still running as of August 2026) makes it strong even without the relationship. Once the promo year and Preferred Rewards both fall away, it is just fine, and better options exist.
