The Compound Verdict
Launched in 2015 with a free-smartphone gimmick, the Access More became a cult classic for a different reason: 3x ThankYou points on virtually all online retail. Applications closed within about two years, and for a long stretch the in-the-know move was product changing other Citi cards into it. Citi eventually shut that door too, and holders who gave it up, often for a Custom Cash, gave up a category that has never been replicated.
