The Compound Verdict
The Reserve's signup, two weekend night certificates good at virtually any Hilton in the world, funded honeymoons at the Conrad Maldives for a 95 dollar fee. When Hilton consolidated its cards with Amex in January 2018, Citi Reserve accounts were converted to the Amex Hilton Honors Ascend, later renamed Surpass. The certificates and the in-branch double dips went with it.
