The Compound Verdict

This card fed the beloved Hotels.com stamp system, where ten collected stamps bought a free night priced at the average of the ten. Expedia Group folded Hotels.com Rewards into the unified One Key program in July 2023, Wells Fargo paused card applications that April, and holders were transitioned to the no-fee One Key Card in September 2024. The card did not fail, its currency was legislated out of existence.
