Credits

No statement credits, this card wins on earn rates, not coupons.

Benefits

  • Requires Robinhood Gold, $5 per month or $50 per year, which also includes the 3.35% APY cash sweep and IRA match perks
  • Stainless steel Visa Signature card with no annual fee of its own
  • Accounts opened before July 1, 2026 remain grandfathered with no foreign transaction fee
  • 5% back on travel booked through the Robinhood travel portal
  • Cash back can sweep into Robinhood brokerage and compound
  • Up to 5 free authorized user cards, including for kids

Why it earns its spot

  • +3% flat on everything is the highest uncapped flat rate in America
  • +Cash back into investments is a genuinely clever loop
  • +Gold subscribers already paying for the sweep APY get the card fee effectively free

Where it costs you

  • You cannot just apply: join the in-app waitlist and wait for an email or push invitation, days for some Gold members, weeks for others
  • The 3% effectively costs $50 per year in Gold, so you need roughly $3,400 of annual spend to beat a free 2% card
  • Cancel Gold and the card terms change; fintech economics this rich invite future nerfs
  • Accounts opened on or after July 1, 2026 pay a 3% foreign transaction fee

The Compound Verdict

Be clear about what this card demands: a paid Robinhood Gold subscription at $5 a month or $50 a year, plus a waitlist invitation before you can even apply. Clear both hurdles and nothing else pays an uncapped 3% on everything, with 5% on portal travel as a bonus. The rate looks too good to survive forever, so enjoy it without building your whole setup around it.
