HSBC
The global British banking giant ran a full US consumer card lineup, headlined by the Premier World Elite Mastercard, until it announced its exit from US mass retail banking in May 2021. Branches went to Citizens Bank and Cathay Bank, the consumer card portfolio wound down, and HSBC now serves only international and wealth clients stateside.

- ▸Remaining US presence is limited to international wealth and corporate banking, not retail cards
