Cons

  • 0.10% APY is symbolic, keep savings in the 360 Performance Savings instead

  • No premium tier or relationship perks to grow into

Our Take

360 Checking is what checking should look like by default: free, no overdraft fees, a bigger fee-free ATM network than Chase, and an app that works. It pays a token 0.10%, which is symbolic but still infinitely more than the megabanks. The only reason not to use it is if you genuinely need branch service every week. For everyone else this is the easiest no-regrets checking account in the country.

Best for: Anyone who wants a free primary checking account and doesn't need branches
