The Compound Verdict

Bank of America and Royal Caribbean replaced the tired old Visa in March 2026 with the Royal ONE family, and legacy Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cardholders are being converted starting June 2026. The no-fee version is finally competitive thanks to everyday categories and a meaty launch bonus. Cruisers who sail every year should look at the Plus tier with its 70,000-point offer and richer onboard perks.
