The Compound Verdict
Discover returned to small business cards in 2018 with a simple pitch: 1.5 percent on everything, doubled by Cashback Match to an effective uncapped 3 percent in year one. The market barely got to try it, as Discover stopped taking applications within about a year and has never issued a business card since. It survives mostly as a trivia answer and a what-if for sole proprietors chasing first-year value.
